Tier Characteristics

Block 15 is dedicated to our Tier 2 Merlot, producing consistently outstanding fruit with reliably strong yields. The vines benefit from rocky clay soils and well-elevated, north–south oriented slopes that enhance canopy balance and ripening consistency. 

Blocks 16 through 18 carry Tier 3 and Tier 6 Merlot and Cabernet Franc. Tier 3 Cabernet Franc flourish on sandy soils, developing elegant tannins, while Merlot benefits from higher-elevation clay soils that enhance structure and depth.
